Testing writing this from Byword, a beautifully minimalist markdown editor for Mac.

Today I got my first continuous glucose monitor (cgm) – apparently all the cool kids are using them to see what foods they work well with and which ones give them a “spike”. It’s obviously super early days for me, but it is interesting to see the impacts, usually shown about 30 minutes after eating. I will say the needle on the device is larger than I was expecting! But then again, how would they accurately monitor without something that goes inside you!
